...LATE SPRING SNOWFALL ON THE CASCADES TODAY INTO TONIGHT...
AN UNSEASONABLY COOL LOW PRESSURE AREA PUSHING INTO THE REGION
WILL MAINTAIN PERSISTENT SHOWERS ACROSS THE CASCADES TODAY INTO
THIS EVENING. SNOW LEVELS WILL HOVER BETWEEN 4000 AND 4500 FEET.
SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 6 INCHES ARE EXPECTED OVER THE
CASCADES TODAY...WITH ANOTHER 1 TO 3 INCHES POSSIBLE TONIGHT.
WHILE SNOW WILL ACCUMULATE ON MOST AREAS...IT MAY BE MORE
DIFFICULT TO ACCUMULATE MUCH ON THE PASS LEVEL ROADWAYS AS THESE
MAY STILL BE A TAD TOO WARM. THIS SAID...THOSE TRAVELING OVER THE
MAJOR PASSES OF THE CASCADES SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR OCCASIONAL MINOR
ACCUMULATIONS...MAKING FOR LOCALLY SLICK DRIVING CONDITIONS.
